BPL Docking Module Concept
A docking module large enough to accommodate four crew members and equipment is being developed currently. The intention of the module is to allow detailed studies to be carried out on artwork encountered in the space environment. An Adapter Ring will be constructed specifically for the artwork in question and temporarily fitted to it with guidance from its author. Then the docking module will be equipped with appropriate devices for 'interacting' with and 'examining' the artwork, and the module will be carefully 'docked' with the artwork. Missions of several day's to several year's duration are conceivable, depending on the interests of the artist(s) involved and the providers of the 'space' in which the mission occurs.
